New York Fashion Week - The Shows

It's the most fashionable time of the year!  NYFW will begin September 6, 2018 and end September 12, 2018.  Tadashi, Nicole Miller and Jeremy Scott will showcase their fabulous work, on the first day of Fashion Week.  Tadashi's formal, Nicole's graphics and Jeremy's "Pop Star" eccentric design will definitely be an iconic way to start this amazing season.  Strut.  Pose.  Twirl.

It appears that Rihanna may be starting a new trend.  A lot of the items that she wears are destined for greatness and are repeated by individuals all over the globe.  This oversized fur coat paired with a headband veil combo, is genious.  She is giving us a 20's/80's feel and it is fierce!  She really makes this look amazing; because, she is the perfect size and the coat does not look too overpowering.  Yet, if she was about 30lbs heavier....um, something about hibernating would have been mentioned.

Wow! The land of premiere's and multiple wardrobe changes. These looks are different; yet, similar in a sense. It appears that the midriff is the focus. Hey, if you got it....flaunt it. I really feel that the white dress is more becoming on Kerry. It gives us a glimpse of old Hollywood. Wherein, the multi-printed dress reminds me of a summer outing in the park. It is not the most flattering or classic look.

I am loving this look on Diane Kruger. The pattern is exquisite, the silhouette tailored and the colors are too much fun. OMG! Check out the shoes! This is a daring look and Diane is pulling it off, quite well.

This look is not enhancing Gabrielle at all or should the focus be placed on her posture.  Stand up, straight and select a different bra...Better yet, WEAR A BRA!  This is a beautiful dress and I believe the shoes need to pop a bit more and her stance needs improvement.  Most of the time, she looks amazing!  This was probably just the wrong pic taken at the wrong time.

Greetings All,

Thank you for your patience and understanding, during an untimely absence. I experienced a loss of a loved one and it has taken time to deal with a "new normal."  However, after a loss...is anything normal?  The pain and agony, takes up residence in your mind/heart and you are left to reclaim your identity....second by second, minute by minute, day by day, week by week, month by month....you get the idea.  Until, you come to a place of pseudo acceptance and discover hope.  Anything, just to get by... 

On this day, we remember how and when all of our lives changed.  We are taking the time to listen to the stories, the memories, the heartache and pain of those left behind to discover their "new normal."  We will never forget our losses and we will never forget 09/11/01. Never Forgotten. 

R.I.P. James--We will always love you and never forget the impact you made on our lives.

Beyonce has given birth to a baby girl, named either Ivy Blue Carter or Blue Ivy Carter. The details of her delivery are still pouring in and the accuracy of the details is questionable. In any case, a private wing at Lenox Hill Hospital was the first spot christened by the little Princess. She was born January 7, 2012.

This look is a total disappointment. Zoe Saldana rarely has mishaps with her fashionable selections. Yet, this look is just wrong. However, the pieces are beautiful and the color choice is great for her complexion. The dress would be so much better with a peep-toe platform slingback (lol), minus the neck adornment and sandals. The necklace is just too dramatic for this neckline and would be much better paired with a strapless dress....jewelry of this size should always be the focal point. The gladiator sandals would be great with leggings or something all black. Just a thought....
